1. Services

Shine Panel Care provides solar panel bird proofing, solar panel cleaning, and related services in Brisbane and surrounding areas. All services are performed by trained technicians in accordance with Queensland workplace health and safety requirements.

We do not perform roof repairs, structural modifications, re-bedding, painting, or electrical or plumbing work.

2. Quotes and Pricing

All quotes provided by Shine Panel Care are fixed-price unless explicitly stated otherwise. Our standard mesh installation rate is $23 per linear metre, inclusive of GST. Cleaning prices are tiered by panel count as published on our pricing page.

Final pricing may vary if site conditions differ materially from those described at the time of quoting (e.g., additional roof faces, obstructions, or safety requirements not previously disclosed).

3. Bookings and Cancellations

Deposits are non-refundable if you cancel or reschedule without reasonable notice (less than 48 hours). Deposits will be credited toward rescheduled bookings if cancellation results from weather or site conditions beyond either party's control.

We reserve the right to reschedule appointments due to weather conditions that prevent safe roof access. We will notify you promptly and offer the earliest available alternative date.

4. Warranty — Professional Installations

All bird proofing mesh installations carried out by Shine Panel Care include a 10-year product warranty on mesh and clips and a lifetime labour warranty. Warranty conditions include:

• The 10-year product warranty on mesh and clips is transferable to a new owner if the property is sold during the warranty period
• The lifetime labour warranty applies to the original customer only and is non-transferable
• Panels must be professionally cleaned and inspected at least once every 24 months to maintain warranty coverage
• Shine Panel Care will attend to any installation defects reported within a reasonable time of installation
• The warranty does not cover damage from natural disasters, accidental damage, unauthorised repairs, or neglect

5. Warranty — DIY Mesh Kits

DIY Solar Panel Bird Proofing Mesh Kits purchased from Shine Panel Care include a 10-year product warranty on the mesh and clips only. The following conditions apply:

• The warranty covers manufacturing defects and material failure of the mesh and clips only
• The warranty does not cover installation labour, roof access, installation errors, incorrect fitting, or any damage caused during DIY installation
• The warranty does not cover bird re-entry caused by installation gaps, incorrect measurement, or incomplete coverage
• The DIY kit warranty is non-transferable and applies to the original purchaser only
• Your rights under Australian Consumer Law apply in addition to this warranty and cannot be excluded by these terms

6. DIY Kit Purchases — Shipping and Returns

The following terms apply to DIY Solar Panel Bird Proofing Mesh Kit purchases made through the Shine Panel Care website:

• Shipping: Orders are dispatched from Brisbane within 1–2 business days. Shipping costs are calculated at checkout based on delivery address.
• Returns: Returns are accepted within 30 days of purchase for kits that are unused, unopened, and in original condition. Contact us before returning any item.
• Faulty goods: If a product arrives damaged or fails to match its description, we will replace or refund it in accordance with Australian Consumer Law.
• Change of mind: Change-of-mind returns are accepted within 30 days provided the kit has not been opened. Return shipping costs are at the buyer's expense.

7. Access and Property

You must ensure we have safe, unobstructed access to your roof on the day of installation. Shine Panel Care technicians will take care to protect your property and will leave the site clean on completion.

We are not liable for pre-existing damage to your roof, panels, or property that is identified during the course of work.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shine Panel Care's liability for any claim arising from our services is limited to the total amount paid for the relevant service. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or economic loss.

9. Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law, including that services will be rendered with due care and skill.
