Shine Panel Care is a registered trading name operated by Desire Industries Pty Ltd (ABN 86 679 956 828), registered office 71 Eagle Street, Brisbane QLD 4000. In this policy, "we", "us" and "our" refer to Desire Industries Pty Ltd trading as Shine Panel Care. We are the business responsible for the personal information described below.

2. Information We Collect

When you submit a quote request or contact us, you give us:

• Your first and last name
• Your phone number
• Your email address
• The location of the job (suburb or address)
• The services you are interested in
• How you heard about us

We also collect information automatically when you visit this website, including your IP address, browser and device type, the pages you visit, the links you click (including taps on our phone number), the website that referred you, and — if you arrive from one of our ads — the identifier of the ad you clicked.

Your IP address is recorded together with your enquiry when you submit the quote form. It is not anonymous and it is not held separately from the rest of your enquiry.

If you buy a DIY mesh kit, checkout is handled by our payment provider rather than on this website. You enter your name, email, delivery address and payment details with them directly. We receive confirmation of the order, the amount paid and your delivery details. We never see or store your full card number.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use your personal information to:

• Respond to your quote requests and service enquiries
• Schedule, confirm and complete jobs
• Send before and after reports of completed work
• Send service reminders (e.g., when your mesh warranty inspection is due)
• Fulfil and ship DIY mesh kit orders
• Measure which ads, pages and channels lead to enquiries and sales
• Advertise to you — see below
• Meet our tax and record-keeping obligations

Advertising and remarketing: we use advertising tools provided by Google and Meta that build audiences from your activity on this website. This means that after visiting our site you may be shown our ads on Google, Facebook, Instagram and their partner networks. Section 6 explains how to opt out of this.

4. Who We Share It With

We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information. We share it with:

• Google (Google Analytics and Google Ads) — your website activity, conversion events and advertising identifiers, used to measure our website and to target and measure our advertising
• Meta (Facebook and Instagram) — your website activity and conversion events, collected via the Meta Pixel and used to target and measure our advertising. If you begin a DIY kit checkout, a Meta browser identifier is passed to our payment provider so the order can be matched back to the ad that led to it
• Our payment provider — to take payment for DIY kit purchases
• Email, spreadsheet, workflow-automation and job-management software that we use to receive your enquiry, store it, quote it and schedule the work
• Our website hosting and content delivery providers — which handle your IP address in order to serve you this website
• Technicians employed or contracted by us, solely to complete your job
• Government or regulatory authorities, where required by law

5. Information Sent Overseas

Several of the providers listed above store and process information outside Australia, primarily in the United States. This includes our analytics, advertising, payment, workflow-automation and content delivery providers. Overseas recipients are not necessarily bound by the Australian Privacy Principles. We take reasonable steps to use established providers with their own published privacy and security commitments.

6. Cookies and Tracking

This website uses cookies and similar technologies. They are set when you arrive; we do not currently display a cookie consent banner. They fall into two groups:

• Analytics (Google Analytics) — measures how the site is found and used, so we can improve it
• Advertising (Google Ads and the Meta Pixel) — records that you visited, what you looked at, and whether you enquired or purchased, so we can measure our advertising and show you our ads afterwards

Our pages also load fonts and a script library from Google and from a content delivery network. Those providers receive your IP address as part of delivering the page.

You can limit this at any time:

• Block or delete cookies in your browser settings (this may affect how the site works)
• Turn off personalised Google ads at myadcenter.google.com
• Adjust your ad preferences inside your Facebook or Instagram account settings
• Opt out of participating advertising networks at youronlinechoices.com.au

7. How Long We Keep It

Enquiries that do not lead to a quote or a booked job are routinely deleted. Where we have sent you a quote or booked your job, we keep the customer and job record in our job-management software for as long as we need it to service your warranty and to meet our tax and record-keeping obligations.

The website activity data described in sections 4 and 6 is held by Google and Meta under their own retention settings and policies, not ours.

8. Data Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your personal information from unauthorised access, disclosure, alteration or destruction. Information is stored in access-controlled software accounts and access is limited to authorised personnel only.

9. Access and Correction

You have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate, and to ask us to delete it. Contact us at team@shinepanelcare.com and we will respond within a reasonable period. There is no charge for making a request.

10. Complaints

If you are concerned about how we have handled your personal information, please contact us first at team@shinepanelcare.com. We will acknowledge your complaint and respond to it. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of our website after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
